14. NOVEMBER 2009: PETER SINGER ATTENDS U.S. PREMIERE OF 'COMING SOON'!!!
We are thrilled to announce the success of our U.S. PREMIERE AT 'THE LIVING THEATRE'!!!
The screenings went off without a hitch (no police raids or fanatical protesters), attracted diverse international audiences of students, professors, zoos, artists, models, philosophers, etc. and, as usual, generated beautiful discussions - a bit of shock here and there but overall appreciation for the film and the ideas contained therein.
The high point for us was certainly the attendance of World-Renowned Philosopher, Peter Singer, who, along with family and friends, joined us for our first ever U.S. screening of 'COMING SOON'. He also took part in the post-screening discussion in which he once again demonstrated his legendary wisdom, fearlessness and huge heart! (Pictures are coming soon but the video will not be made public and will remain a treat in the memory of those who attended.)
We would also like to express our deep gratitude to THE LIVING THEATRE for hosting the premiere and to Hawk Alfredson & Mia Hanson for all their help and inspiration throughout!
